Established in 1994, Tipping Point was born from the amalgamation of firms sharing a common vision.

1994: In August 1994 PondCorp (A.C.N. 066 106 492) was founded. The company began with a service focus that continues today, providing quality project management for the private sector and conceptual design leadership to Government in the fields of urban and transport planning.

1996: Expanded operations and opened an office in London.

2000: Acquired 21MC Limited (No. 4173286), a London based management consultancy.

2003: Introduced sustainability as a corporate culture.

2006: Initiated research and development into the opportunities and threats from the carbon-constrained economy.

2008: After a strategic review, realigned the organisation, restructured the group and rebranded in Australia as The Tipping Point Institute (TTPI).

2012: The consultancy and the research arms of the business were separated into two distinct businesses — Tipping Point as the consulting professional services organisation and The Tipping Point Institute as the centre for research and development.
